Henry C. Paine, Jr. Member

Mr. Henry “Hank” C. Paine, Jr., born October 28, 1952 in La Grange, Texas, has been practicing law for almost 30 years.    He received his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University, graduating in 1973.   Hank had the priviledge of being elected as Head Yell Leader and Senior Class President in 1972-1973 and was selected to Who’s Who in American Colleges & Universities in 1973.   Upon graduation from A&M,  Hank returned to La Grange and worked as an assistant to the County Judge in Fayette County.  His primary duties were grant origination, drafting and presentation to legislators in both Austin and Washington.   He also truck farmed, raising watermelons, peppers and tomatoes.    Hank graduated from St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio, Texas in 1979.    He has been board certified in Criminal Law by theTexas Board of Legal Specialization since 1989.
